You can train in traditional martial arts skills AND our Combat Kickboxing in one place. A place for 3 year olds, 13 year olds and 103 year olds, there is something for everyone at Enso Martial Arts and we work for you.
Chief Instructor Shihan Craig Wilson is a fully accredited instructor and:
- 5th Dan in Kenpo Karate Do
- 1st Dan in Kyokushin Karate
- 1st Dan in Tae Kwon Do
He has trained for years in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai is a qualified trainer and pad-holder and trained at the famed Sityodtong Muay Thai camp in Thailand in 2012 and 2016.
Shihan Craig has also spent 4 years in the Australian Army and later joined the NSW Police Force. Shihan Craig has now turned his passion into a job, helping others realise their dreams through martial arts.
With so much experience, you WILL gain an impressive array of skills and techniques that will help you become the best version for yourself.

What should I wear?
Until you acquire the Gi (Karate Uniform) feel free to wear loose comfortable active wear. Footwear is unnecessary as we train barefoot. Jewellery and eye-glasses should be taken off prior to training to avoid any injury.
How can I prepare for class?
Not eating for at least an hour is recommended and please drink plenty of water during the class to avoid dehydration.
What about my level of fitness?
You do not need to have a base level of fitness to start training with us. We encourage students to train at their pace and you will slowly notice your fitness increase the more you train.
Do I have to join after using my introductory lessons?
You are under no obligation to continue training if you find martial arts is not for you.
From what age can I enrol my child?
Children can join the fun and energetic Tiny Tigers Karate from 3 years plus.
How many students are there in each class?
1. Little Dragons Karate (4 to 6 years) - 16 max for 40 mins
2. Junior Karate Program (7 to 12 years) - 24 max for 50 mins
3. Teens / Adult Karate (13+ years) - 30 max for 60 to 90 mins
PHOENIX COMBAT DEFENCE SYSTEM
1. Little Phoenix Kickboxing (4 to 6 years) - 16 max for 40 mins
2. Junior Kickboxing (7 to 12 years) - 20 max for 50 mins
3. Teen / Adult Combat Kickboxing (13+ years) - 30 max for 60 mins
Industry standard is 10 students to 1 instructor. Sparring classes 1:5.
Which instructors will be taking the classes?
Classes are supervised and run by Shihan Craig 5th Dan and Sempai Brooke 2nd Dan Black Belt.
How do the Karate gradings work?
Karate gradings are held every three to 6 months depending on belt rank.
Do I automatically get signed up to a membership once the trial period ends?
The trial period is an opportunity to see if both you and the club are a right fit for each other. We want to have happy clients who are committed to the values and the ethos we abide by. After the trial period, you will be invited to a quick meeting to see how you would like to proceed.
